Girlguiding Sheffield now has an even larger team of In4mers, for you to invite to your Brownie, Guide and Ranger unit meetings.
These Senior Section members are all trained as Peer Educators, JUST the people to lead sessions on topics such as :
- Binge Drinking
- Friendships/Bullying
- Disability awareness
- Healthy Easting/Disorder
- Media
- Poverty and World Development
- Sexual Health
- Stress Management
These are FUN sessions (even though some of the topics sound heavy) which our Peer Educators facilitate in a way which the girls in your units will actively enjoy, whilst also taking away with them an in depth view of the topic.
PLEASE DO make the most of this valuable resource, by calling Margaret Mann, our 4 Diary co-ordinator (details in County Directory). Margaret will help you select a topic (if you are undecided) arrange a date and time to suit your unit meeting, and introduce you to an In4mer who is skilled to cover the topic of your choice.
AND, if you are 14+ through to 25, why not talk to us about attending a 4 Basic Training? A thoroughly enjoyable weekend guaranteed, and its almost FREE!
