Things you can Borrow from the Guide Office

This page tells you about all the things you can borrow from the Guide Office. Please note that some of them come with a small charge.

These boards can be carried by one person, and will fit into the boot of a small car and now have a wide range of pictures and banners which you can use with them. Don't forget to ring or email the office first to check that they are available.

Laptop, Projector and Screen

Please note that the laptop and related equipment remain the property of Girlguiding Sheffield. However, the person hiring the equipment is responsible for its security. Please do not lend the equipment to anyone else or leave it in a vehicle unattended. If you are returning the laptop outside of office hours, please do not leave it unattended in the office.

County T-Shirts

These T shirts can be borrowed for any event. They are navy blue (of course!) and have short sleeves. They have the new Trefoil on the front with Girlguiding at the top and Sheffield at the bottom (picture to follow shortly!)

They are available in 3 different sizes and all you need to do is return them washed and ironed. If you find that you cannot bear to part with your T shirt once you have worn it, you can purchase it for £8. Please contact Margaret Mann (details in County Directory) for more information.

Have you seen the leaflet that we have publicising Guiding in Sheffield? Follow this link to view it. If you want to save it, click on the picture with your right mouse button and choose the option "Save Picture As" to save it to your computer. You can then include it in a Word document or a PowerPoint document and print it off. Or, if you are not too familiar with IT, why not pop into the Guide Office and get some A5 copies.

As for the leaflets below, as well as being able to get these leaflets from the Guide Office, you can now download copies from this web site. Just click on the leaflet you want and choose Save this file to disk.

Note: You will need access to a programme called Adobe Acrobat. This is a free program that can be downloaded from the Adobe web site. Once you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can save the file to your hard drive, view it and read it.
