VISION: 20:10 20/10 2010
Come and join with everyone in Girlguiding Sheffield on 20th October for the grand finale of our Centenary. We will look back at our Centenary year and renew our promise as we look forward to the future.
This very special FREE event is for EVERYONE in Guiding and the Trefoil Guild in Sheffield. We will congregate in the Peace Gardens from 7.30pm, start our reflections at 7.45 and join together in remaking our promise at 20.10.The event will finish by 8.30 to ensure everyone can get away before it gets too late.
We would love every unit to be represented and for each Brownie and Guide unit to parade their flag. (There will be special arrangements for Rainbows – more information later!) Senior section members will be asked to carry the Standard, World and Union flags and Centenary Banner.
We would like to know how many Sheffield Centenary event badges to buy – so please register by completing and returning the form below. Badges are £1 each – cheques to be payable to Girlguiding Sheffield. (Remember that the special GGUK Centenary promise badges can be worn from 20th October. They can be purchased from Trading or the Scout Shop before 30 June.) In early September each registered unit will be sent further information including a CD and words for some songs and something to make to bring along.
