Guide Paint Box Day - 13 May 2006

This
day was a great success. 67 guides attended at Trippett Lane. They
worked in Oils, Acrylics, Gouache, Watercolours, soft pastels, oil pastels, and
charcoal to produce their Fine Art. For Fun Art the girls chose from T-shirt
painting or T-shirt stencilling, silk painting, paper marbling, and air-dry clay
work. Each girl produced 4 different handmade crafts/works of art and
thereby earned their Guide Craft Interest Badge. We were ably assisted by
6 local art students, our trusty team of Guiders and a very helpful Ranger!
This was the 3rd of our Sectional Art Days, all of these have been
extraordinarily well supported both by the girls and by leaders. Thanks
again to all those who supported by attending and helping with the various
