The Carol Service at York Minister was well represented by Girlguiding Sheffield.  Here are a few photos of the County standard and the World Flag.

The 204th Sheffield Guides had a trip to Spain this year.  Their photographs really do capture the fun they had.

"The boats were catamarans with two floats at the side and a large sail in the middle. There were six guides on each boat and an instructor. I had to sit in the middle of the boat and it was quite scary. The instructor took us over this massive wave caused by a cruise ship sailing near to the shore and it was so fun. It was amazing"

During a trip to Barcelona, the girls visited the famous fountains.  "When the display started there was colourful light and music. The fountain in the middle was enormous! The music was from the Nutcracker and it was all very wonderful. The water shot up in all different directions and as you can imagine sitting right on the front row we got very wet, particularly when the fountain was high and the wind blew. When the fountain had finished we all gathered round and Lydia was presented with her Baden Powell"
